JAKE ALBA – Baseball Producer

Jake Alba is a former baseball player at the University of Southern California (1992-1994). His experience as a Little League coach was the driving force behind his vision for Coaching Simplified. The numerous incidents of temperamental coaches and their ill effects on the character of the young players were not acceptable!

Coach Jake believes that to truly have a team in sync, you must foster a fair-balanced type relationship with your players. This clear line of respect helps create good chemistry and a winning environment for all.

In addition to successfully running Coaching Simplified, Jake is an Emmy Award winning producer at Fox Sports West, with credits ranging from weekly magazine shows for the MLB Angels and NHL Ducks to special documentaries. Some of his most memorable projects included working on a talk show with legendary host Vin Scully and interviewing Hall of Famer, Frank Robinson.

Jake lives in Los Angeles with his wife Lillian and two children, Jackson and Simone.
